You know, not everybody in the franchise industry likes me. I am honest, ethical, and very opinionated. I don't belong to The International Franchise Association {yet}. I march to the beat of my own drum. I have no problem calling out weak franchise concepts, weak franchise blogs and websites that are only there for Google ads, and unscrupulous companies in general. I even call out franchise consulting and brokerage groups that should not be selling their "opportunities" to non- qualified people.
I do it because I really believe in the business model of franchising, but I want to protect future franchise owners from financial ruin, if they end up choosing the wrong one, either by not having enough knowledge, or by being sold a bill of goods.
Over the centuries, all King's have had protection, because like this King, not everybody liked them, or agreed with them, either.
