They're going to show you how to sell one. A fence, that is.....
Fences can be good things.
Guier Fence out of Kansas City, Missouri is a household name. In fencing. In Missouri. That's why they have decided to expand their thriving business via the franchise model. They want to extend their brand. But fencing? Who needs one?
(This article is part of a paid marketing package. I'm also engaged by this client to help them find great franchise owners for their new franchise concept.)Lots of people need fences. Lots of people buy fences. It's a big market. Residential fencing is about a $3 Billion market. The commercial fencing market is even bigger. (Combined, it's about a $10 Billion business!)
But why turn a family-run operation into a franchise business?
“We’ve taken everything we’ve learned in 30-years of building one of the largest and most respected fence companies in the country and packaged into a franchise program,” said Lea Bailes, CEO of Guier Fence. “This is the first time there has been a nationwide fence franchise available in the U.S. and we’ve made sure it has everything an owner needs to be successful in our new franchise concept.”Being first can be pretty exciting. New franchise owners will generally have their first choice of territory.

Kelly Guier founded Guier Fence in 1979 and is now Chairman Emeritus. “I am really excited when I see what Lea and the team have put together for franchisees,” Guier said. “I can say first-hand that there was a lot of painful of trial and error that led to the systems we have now. I can’t even imagine how much easier and faster we would have grown had I had something like this.”
There are hundreds of independent fence companies in the central US. (Which is where the folks at Guier Fence will be focusing their franchise growth efforts in) That means hundreds of opportunities for the Guier franchise sales team. That's because Guier fence has a special franchise program just for existing independent fencing companies. For some independents, converting to a franchise may make sense.
Do you happen to be a Military Veteran? There's a nice program for you, too.
Surprisingly, Lea says that you don't need to know how to install fences to become a franchise owner. He told me that franchisees should know how to manage people, be comfortable selling to consumers, and be organized.
If you live in the middle part of the country, and would like to get involved in a company with a proven track record and a proven business system, Guier Fence is looking for great franchise owners to help them expand.
If you're sick of being "fenced in" by an employer, and feel that you're ready to become a small business owner, maybe it's time for you to expand, too. (Expand your horizons, that is)
Go ahead. check out;

Aaron,
Thank you for stopping by! I'm anxious to see how many folks will check this new opportunity out.
I think it's for real!

Very excited to be part of this program! It really is something different to both our industry and to the franchise world. The program is so unique in the actual substance to what is offered, not just a franchise for the sake of starting a franchise. The fence industry holds so much opportunity. Bringing "A+" people into our program will truly be life changing for those individuals!
