1. Go to a bookstore, and purchase a few Entrepreneur Magazines that have information on franchises and business opportunities.

2. Go to the library with a notebook, and copy down some information from those magazines ,and maybe even look at a few books about franchising.

3. Look for a franchise consultant/broker who can help you narrow things down, significantly.

4. Ask your Uncles, Aunts, 4th Cousins, co-workers etc. what franchises are "hot"
{But..read this article before you do that!}

5. Go online-kinda like what you are doing now, and search some good Franchise Directories.Like Franchise Direct.

Those are 5 ways that people generally find the franchises that they are going to buy. Of course there is one more way that's emerging. Social media. Like:
