The color green. It seems that in the past 2 years or so, it's everybody's favorite. Personally, I still like blue. But, I do like things that are green. Like solar energy, or recycling.
With the current state of the economy, and the large number of job losses currently taking place, more and more people are thinking about being their own boss. A lot of these folks have been through downsizings in the past, and are tiring of the job search shuffle.
Are you one them? Have you been through this before? Are you sick of not being in control of your own future? Are you at least thinking about alternative career options?
I have worked with a franchise company out of Atlanta for several years now, and have always liked the way they do business. They seem to be ahead of their competitors when it comes to innovation. This time, it has to do with the color Green...
What first impressed me with Cathy and Don was their enthusiasm. And their sincerity.
They did a wonderful presentation about their franchise opportunity to a group I was with back in 2001. Some folks can do a great presentation, and some just can't. I have seen presentations that were average at best, but their product or service was excellent. On the other hand, I have seen stellar presentations on sub-par products and services.
During their slide show presentation, one slide really stood out, and still does today. Don was quoted in a newspaper story, and was asked what he felt was the most important thing about his franchise offering. His answer still stands out today;
"Franchisee profitability."
{They want their franchise owners to see lots of green}
Now, I can already feel the franchise executives who are reading this starting to call and email their marketing departments, and demanding that they put those two really powerful and important words into all their franchise marketing materials. But, will they mean it?
If investing in a franchise of your own is one of the options you are considering, do those two words have some clout? Even if you never in your wildest dreams imagined yourself owning a business like the one I am about to tell you about, won't the appeal of those two words at least make you stop, and learn a little more about what they are offering?
The first thing that this franchise did, before anyone else, was to offer online scheduling of it's services. This was done several years ago, before the technology was even popular. They felt that it would really help their franchisees set themselves apart from the competition. It did.
Now, they have done something really cutting edge, again, way before the others in their category.
They are a fully certified Green cleaning business.
"Maid Brigade's certified Green Cleaning is the only housecleaning system that uses green chemicals, equipment and processes that are certified by Green Seal for a safe yet thorough cleaning, and our equipment and processes follow many Green Seal standards for cleaning services."
Wait. A cleaning franchise? Why would I want to clean houses?
Don't worry. You, as the franchise owner, won't be lifting a broom, or vacuuming your customers homes. Really.
But your employees will be using Green cleaning products! With this criteria:
If you have been thinking about doing something that involves Green, maybe you should look into this opportunity.
Maid Brigade is looking for businesspeople. Maid Brigade's franchise owners come from many different backgrounds. Almost all of them have one thing in common; They never imagined that they would own a cleaning franchise!
Still not interested? Does a 5 day green work week sound attractive? How about a low investment of some of your own green?
I work with a lot of folks who are interested in exploring franchise opportunities. I always suggest that they get the facts, before they discount any opportunity. Are you willing to get some more facts about Maid Brigade? {It is not just about cleaning}
Just go here, and request some information.

Green seems to be the way to go.

Joel, as you know I've owned a Maid Brigade franchise for 20 years and going Green has definitely set us apart from competition. Although others are jumping on the bandwagon, we still are the only "Truly Green" cleaning service. By the way, I've never had to clean a house myself as a franchise and don't plan to start anytime soon. Keith

I read the first sentence and knew immediately which franchise brand you were referring to. Such is the power of marketing -- and more importantly being a trailblazer.
