Thank you so much for chiming in. In just a couple of short years, this "greening" has really caught on. Like you, I am on the lookout for what you call "greenwashing." Maybe between the two of us, we can help keep the green in business, clean!

Thanks for all this fabulous information, Joel. What I have noticed is that more and more every day businesses are starting to offer green/environmental products as well as information about the sustainability and ethics of their own company. For example, Exxon just recently launched a campaign to drive users to their projects on "clean energy." Of course so much of this is "greenwashing." What is clear, though, is that big companies are betting that "green" is not just a trend, but a serious commitment to the future.

I wrote a short how-to guide on green marketing that speaks to this subject; would appreciate any feedback. Again, thanks for this great information.
